I remember, it was sometime around July 2013 in the middle of our very busy season and I was on the Gautrain back to Johannesburg. The usual me decided to strike up a conversation with the dude next to me and to make conversation, I said the full moon looks really beautiful today. The dude said what do you think that is. I was like its a moon. He said its really not, thats an artificial spaceship my friend. At that moment we reached Midrand station and the dude left. This was something that really baffled me on my way to "Park" and thoughts of was this guy a few screws loose? Was he smoking something? Who on earth believes or thinks such kuk.
When I reached Park station I got to my car and did a quick google search on "spaceship moon" and found numerous websites dedicated to investigating or discussing such a belief. How could this be I thought. This prompted me to research and write this piece so here goes.
The moon is earth's closest celestial body. It owes its name to the Proto Germanic term mǣnōn. The common scientific belief is that the moon was once part of the earth and due to some cosmic collisions seperated from the earth. Man has always been deeply interested and in some cases inspired by the moon to a point of even worshipping it. Examples of Moon Gods and Goddesses include Phoebe, Artemis, Selene and Hecate. The main symbol of Islam is the moon and star and some argue that one of the greatest miracles of the Prophet Muhammad was to split the moon although whether this actually happened is matter of debate. I have also seen a moon and star alongside the Aum sign used by some Hindus. Furthermore man has spent billions of dollars studying it and in 1969 finally reached it.
In 1970 two Russian Scientists Vasin and Shcherbakov launched a theory known as the Vasin-Shcherbakov theory which proposed that the moon is artificial (was built by an advanced civilisation), is hollow and possibly occupied by some form of inhabitants(aliens) and was intentionally parked in its current orbit. Some of the main reasons for this theory include its too good to be true characteristics. I always admire people who challenge the conventional. It causes you think and research for yourselves than simply follow blindly. Well done to you.
The following are some of the many anomalies surrounding the moon which raises more questions than answers.
1. The moon is tidally locked to the earth and as a consequence we only see one side of it. The side that does not face the earth is known as the dark side and displays a more noticeable amount of indentations caused by celestial collisions. The craters of the moon, despite in some cases being 100s of kilometres long and wide are no more than 2-3 km deep. How could this be? Surely a collission or explosion causing such a huge crater would leave a hole hundreds of Kilometres deep. This could possibly mean that below a certain level the moon has an extremely strong and robust layer or shell. I remember once hearing that Nasa deliberately crashed a capsule into the moon to test for water. During this crash the moon vibrated like a bell for a few minutes before settling down.
2. A planet having a moon is not unique. The earth moon is about a quarter the size of the earth. But lets look at Jupiter, the average size of Jupiters moons is about 1/80th its size. This would indicate that the moon seems a bit huge in relation to the size of the earth.
3. A study of rock samples from the moon indicate that it was at least 4.6billion years old. Two rocks from Apollo 12 were dated to at least 20 Billion years old...HUH? This is where it gets funky, the age of the earth is around 3.7 Billion years old. Furthermore, these rock samples contained a strong presence of titanium and chromium. These are very strong metals and normally employed for military use due to their strenght and heat resistance. Additional metals identified in a natural state include plutonium and uranium. What???This is unusual as on earth these can only be prepared after various laboratory processes are performed.
4. The moon is almost exactly 400 times smaller than the sun and 400 times further from the sun, enough to perfectly cover it during an eclipse. Is this a sheer coincidence? Was this as a result of years of evolution similar to human beings, or could this have been intentionally built and placed in this orbit.
Conclusion
The above interesting observations indicate that there is more to the moon than meets the eye. Is it populated by aliens...nahh I don't think so. If it was, I would presume these dudes would have visited us or have been sighted for now. The anomalies definitely for me have created some food for thought. I most certainly wont just look at it as a ball of krap in the sky who doesn't pay my rent. As time goes on, I am sure these lunar mysteries and anomalies will be resolved.
